D&H Distributing Offers New Training, Support To Help VARs Grow

D&H’s VAR Best Practices Solutions Lab Webcast and Lenovo Server Build Event Are the Latest Efforts in D&H’s Overall Commitment to Develop VARs’ Businesses

D&H Distributing, the major North American computer products and consumer electronics distributor, is increasing its commitment to provide guidance and acumen for VARs as they face opportunities in a more prosperous IT market. Among these ongoing resources, the distributor is offering two new training events to help VARs attain additional skills and grow their businesses.

D&H presents a new webcast through its Solutions Lab on August 22 at 2:00 p.m. ET, entitled “VAR Best Practices – Building Your Business By Doing What’s Right For Your Customers.”  This session is at no-cost for D&H resellers. In addition, the distributor is offering a D&H and Lenovo Server Build Session on Tuesday, October 8, to be held at the Tripp Lite Integrated Solutions Center, 111 West 35th Street, Chicago, IL. The details:

VAR Best Practices – Building Your Business By Doing What’s Right For Your Customers: D&H Solutions Specialists Bill Hersh and Larry Henry will discuss best practices for an IT business, based on data and feedback gathered from thousands of SMB VARs. The session will reveal the strategies of successful resellers across the country. Topics include gaining new customers, sales optimization tools, and customer relations. Attendees are automatically entered for a chance to win a Buffalo TeraStation 3400 4-Drive Business-Class Network & ISCSI Unified Storage solution (one winner only). D&H customers can register for the event at dandh.com/solutionslab (https://www.dandh.com/v4/view?pageReq=solutions&utm_id=323).

D&H and Lenovo Server Build: Participants will be privy to presentations from Lenovo, Intel, Microsoft and Tripp Lite at this off-site, multi-vendor session, which includes a live server demo.  D&H’s Solutions Specialist Team will be available for questions, and D&H Lenovo partners will receive $50 off the cost of the server demo.

“With the market recovering, many VARs are faced with growth opportunities and need support in order to make intelligent, strategic decisions to best capitalize on the market,” said Mary Campbell, vice president of marketing at D&H. “As a distribution partner, we can provide that guidance, sharing our expertise to their advantage. The goal is to help them make appropriate choices and take on new sales areas that make sense for their own business models. Our training resources are a part of that, as is our expansion of support mechanisms like the Solutions Specialist Team and the Partner Services marketing program.”

D&H’s Solutions Lab also offers ongoing, streamable content, available 24/7.  Current posted sessions include a Windows 2012 Server Essentials & Windows Azure webisode, a Configuring Windows 2012 Server webisode, The Intel Technology Provider Program webisode and more. Visit dandh.com and click the “Solutions Lab” tab in the lower left hand menu to view the available content options.
