Cortado Launches Free Cloud Desktop For Every Device, Every Location And Every User
Cortado redefines the desktop
Cortado, the leading innovator of cloud desktop services, announces recently its HTML5 version for Cortado Workplace. The new version adds a client for PCs, Macs, and notebooks to its series of native apps for iPhones, iPads, Android and BlackBerry devices. Over 230,000 users already benefit from the extensive cloud desktop features of the free Cortado Workplace app for iPhone, iPad, Android and BlackBerry devices.
Via the cloud, users can take advantage of all of the practical Cortado Workplace desktop features, and enjoy a full post-PC desktop experience with any device from any location. The app provides users with free and fast access to their personal, password-protected 2 GB online storage space and multiple file-handling features, such as the ability for files to be emailed or exported to PDF. The HTML5 version makes it easier to use the personal Cortado Workplace account with different devices. Files can be uploaded, for example, with a PC or Mac and then accessed and edited with a smartphone or tablet.
“Among our 230,000 customers are sales managers who value having price lists and contracts always at hand, or students who can create their presentation on a tablet and present it using a PC,” said Dirk Löwenberg, business director online sales & services. “The HTML5 version completes our cloud desktop. The concept is unique, because from now on the user can access the cloud desktop with any device, creating a connection between smartphones, tablets, PCs and Macs. All that is needed is any device and our free app.”
