Constantine Joins AIM NA Board

Executive Leads Point-of-Sale and Barcode Initiatives at ScanSource

AIM North America (AIM NA), the Association for Automatic Identification and Mobility in North America, announced recently the appointment of Paul Constantine to the Board of Directors for AIM North America.

Mr. Constantine is President of ScanSource POS and Barcode US/Canada, the leading international value-added distributor of automatic identification and data capture (AIDC) and point-of-sale (POS) solutions, services and sales. Based in Greenville, South Carolina, he oversees the business unit that strategically works with organizations to identify and implement AIDC technology solutions designed to create profitable growth. A member of the executive team since joining ScanSource in 1999, Mr. Constantine was named President of ScanSource POS and Barcode in 2012.

"Paul is a well-known and respected leader in the AIDC industry, and we are very happy to welcome him to the AIM NA Board,” said AIM North America Chief Operating Officer Mary Lou Bosco. "In addition to his extensive experience with ScanSource, he plays a major role with relationship building and networking throughout the U.S. and Canada and shares AIM NA’s vision to further the adoption of AIDC innovation and technologies.”

Prior to assuming his current role as president, Mr. Constantine held positions in several other ScanSource business units, where his responsibilities included solutions and services, merchandising and sales.

A graduate of Furman University with a degree in accounting, Mr. Constantine held positions with Arrow Electronics, Prudential Securities and KPMG prior to joining ScanSource.
