Computer Market Research Adds Deal Registration To PartnerPortal

Computer Market Research (CMR), a managed services provider and developer of partner relationship management (PRM) software, announced that it has added Deal Registration to its PartnerPortal platform. CMR’s Deal Registration is a SaaS-based solution which allows VARS and other channel partners to increase sales by enabling them to act on leads and win business.

Deal Registration is a feature of some channel programs in which a channel partner, often a VAR or System Integrator, informs a vendor on a lead and is given priority for it. Deal Registration software exists to facilitate this process via automated alerts and comprehensive dashboards that show the status of deals in real-time. Deal Registration software is also useful for reducing channel conflict that occurs when multiple partners compete for a sale by undercutting prices.

PartnerPortal, the improved platform which now supports CMR’s Deal Registration, was launched earlier this year. PartnerPortal allows users the ability to easily customize their partner interface, create online forms, and quickly configure the look and feel of their portal. Prior to PartnerPortal, Deal Registration was offered on CMR’s Partner Avenue, a platform without the aforementioned functionalities.
