Cima Software Announces DocuClass Express
Cima Software, a major provider of scalable and process-oriented Document Management software solutions, today announced the availability of DocuClass Express, a highly-functional, “all-in-one” system intended to address most Document Management needs.
DocuClass Express is intended for companies that are seeking a robust, affordable, and user-friendly way to electronically capture, access and organize documents, but desire an easy upgrade path to a larger, enterprise-scale solution whenever additional functionality is needed. It provides scanning capabilities, built-in TIFF and PDF viewers and editors, electronic searching, drag-and-drop file import, e-mail as well as integration with MS Office. Additional options include Optical Character Recognition (OCR), auditing, MS Office Plug-ins and web-based access.
DocuClass Express was designed to be easy to deploy and utilize – within a matter of hours. It provides a seamless transition to a full DocuClass enterprise-scale solution, eliminating data migration issues, data loss, and training issues while protecting the initial software investment.
“We designed DocuClass Express with enough functionality to impress the most sophisticated of customers, yet made it simple enough for first-time document management customers to quickly install and use it,” said Nelson R. Cano, President of DocuClass. “DocuClass Express is also easy to sell and support, which will enable it to quickly propagate through our extensive third-party reseller network.”
Availability
DocuClass Express is available immediately. The basic package includes three user licenses, but more can be added at any time. The package also includes one license of the DocuClass’ MFP Link or XML Connector. OCR, Microsoft Office plug-in, Web Server and Audit Agent licenses are sold separately. If additional functionality is desired, such as workflows, COLD/ERM, electronic forms, or advanced scanning capability, customers can seamlessly upgrade to the full enterprise-scale version of DocuClass.
