Bluefire Security Technologies Joins RSASecured Partner Program To Provide Secure User Authentication From Mobile Handheld Devices

Bluefire Security Technologies, Inc., a developer of security solutions for mobile devices, today announced that it has joined the RSASecured Partner Program. Additionally, the Bluefire Mobile Security VPN has been awarded RSASecured certification with RSASecurID, signaling its interoperability with industry leading two-factor authentication technology from RSASecurity.

As a result of technical cooperation between Bluefire and RSASecurity under the RSASecuredPartner Program, customers who are mobile device users can safely authenticate and connect to a computer network from a remote location. The Bluefire Mobile Security VPN provides a user interface enabling RSASecurID authenticators, such as tokens, to interoperate with the Bluefire VPN. User login credentials are secured in transit to the network and the integrity of the authentication process is protected. All data-in-transit after authentication is also secured by the Bluefire VPN.
