Bixolon Releases The SLP-D220, Its Smallest Auto-ID Bar Code Label Printer

With its Slim Compact Design, the Versatile Two Inch SLP-D220 Thermal Direct Label Printer Fits Just About Anywhere

Recently Bixolon, a leading manufacturer of POS receipt, Auto-ID, and mobile printers, announced the release of its new SLP-D220. With its print speed of 6IPS (152mm/sec), movable sensors and its slim, compact design, the SLP-D220 provides a versatile solution for a wide array of bar code label printing applications, especially within small, constrained environments.

Adding to its versatility, the SLP-D220's adjustable sensors support a large variety of paper types, including ReStick paper and particular marked media rolls (gap, notch, black mark, continuous, fanfold). The resolution of 203dpi (8dot/mm) is standard and a resolution of 300dpi (11.81dot/mm) is available on SLP-D223 model.

Additional features include a Serial and USB standard interface - with optional Serial and Ethernet, 4MB flash memory, 8MB SDRAM, easy to use paper loading and peeling, automatic recognition of multiple programming languages such as SLCS, EPL II and ZPL II and Vector font support (scalable font).
