Awareness Technologies' Partner Program Grows 70 Percent In The First Half Of 2011

Accelerating Demand for Internal Threat Protection in the Cloud Drives Channel Expansion

CompTIA Breakaway 2011 – Awareness Technologies Inc., the only provider of Complete Insider Threat Security On-Demand, recently announced that its Partner Program grew exponentially by 70 percent over the last six months, and increased bookings by more than 235 percent in the last quarter alone. Additionally, the Program's international footprint experienced 80 percent growth, adding new partners in EMEA, APAC and Latin American regions.

Among the newest partners signed to the Program is Manage Protect, an Australian services distributor committed to making email and the Internet a secure, safe, compliant and productive environment for business.

"Manage Protect's business is about understanding the SaaS security technology that is on the horizon for Australian and New Zealand SMBs, and then delivering a solution through a channel of local VARs and MSPs," said Andrew Johnson, CEO, Manage Protect. "When faced with the need for ‘more than just web filtering', and partners who were starting to look to address ‘data on the move', we selected Awareness Technologies not only for its best-of-breed technology, but also for its in-depth understanding and commitment to the channel. When you work in security, you need someone you can trust."

Launched in June 2010, Awareness Technologies' Partner Program was designed to make it easy for service distributors, managed service providers (MSPs), systems integrators, and value-added resellers (VARs) to quickly add ‘insider threat' solutions delivered as a service to their offerings. In addition to Awareness Technologies' highly successful distribution partnership with Ingram Micro, the Program continues to add new partners, including Stasmayer, Incorporated, a leading provider of technology solutions exclusively to professional organizations; and Computer Solutions Group, Inc., a leading provider of state-of-the-art IT support, service and products.

"Our partnership with Awareness Technologies further aligns Stasmayer, Incorporated with a new and fast growing area in security – cloud-based internal threat protection. Awareness Technologies' solutions are a powerful addition to our suite of services and will give us a competitive edge in addressing the information security and compliance needs of our customers," said David Stasaitis, President, Stasmayer, Incorporated.

"We are dedicated to helping companies achieve the most out of their technology investments by providing state-of-the-art IT support, service and products to enhance corporate and personal productivity. This partnership with Awareness Technologies allow us to offer our customers a complete solution to protect against insider threats that's easy to implement and cost-effective," said Scott Spiro, CEO, Computer Solutions Group, Inc.

According to Gartner Research, 52 percent of Chief Information Security Officers believe data leakage is a top driver of their security spending. By joining with Awareness Technologies' Partner Program, partners can offer companies of all sizes the only SaaS-based Unified "Internal" Threat Management solution that integrates web-filtering, employee monitoring, data loss prevention (DLP) and laptop theft recovery into one complete solution. Customers can access, manage and report on all four solutions in the cloud through one single control console for a monthly subscription fee.

"In the past, cloud-based security was limited to filtering malware at the network perimeter or managing a firewall remotely. With our solution, partners can offer comprehensive insider threat prevention services that work both on and off the network to their SMB customers, and the cloud delivery model makes it easy to sell, implement and manage," said Ken Totura, Chief Channel Officer of Awareness Technologies. "The growth that our partner program has experienced is a direct result of the increased demand for SaaS-based internal threat protection among SMBs and enterprises."
