Autotask Rocks The Global IT Community With Proven Best Practices And Faster Business Results

Autotask Community Members and Industry Experts Recognized as Leaders in First Annual Rock Star Awards Announced at SMB Nation in Las Vegas

Autotask Corporation, developer of the world's No. 1 hosted IT Business Management platform, recently announced the launch of the Autotask CommunITy Rocks Outreach Program, a global effort to share IT Service and Solution Provider best practices and IT business management tips, which lead to faster bottom line results. In addition, Autotask will conduct two live training sessions and honor the winners of their first annual Autotask Rock Star Awards on Oct. 21, 2010 during the SMB Nation Fall in Las Vegas.

The Autotask CommunITy Rocks Outreach Program consists of face-to-face user "Jam Sessions" held this year at more than seven locations around the U.S., and another two held globally. In addition, Autotask customers can access rich online content, conduct live chats with like-minded solution providers, and choose from various free online Cloud and Managed Services best practice training sessions available through the Autotask Academy.

"We launched this program as a way to bring top contributors and leaders from our Autotask Community face-to-face with new and prospective Autotask customers who can experience almost an immediate acceleration of their IT business success from these proven best practices and Autotask Academy training," says Mark Crall, Executive Director of Community Development, Autotask.

This week, Len DiCostanzo, dean of the Autotask Academy and senior VP, Autotask Corporation, will lead two training sessions free to Fall SMB Nation attendees. The Cloud Revisited... Redefining Product and Services Automation session will discuss how to maximize financial performance and automate the many processes to sell, implement, manage and bill IT products and services. ThePricing Methodologies for Your Hybrid IT Services Portfolio session will reveal a proven pricing methodology for a complete IT Services portfolio with a focus on cloud services and automated managed services.

Autotask will also rock SMB Nation with an invite-only Autotask Rocks the Cloud party to be held Sat., Oct. 23 from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. Visitors to the Autotask booth can receive a party pass and a chance to win a new Fender guitar.

What's more, during the event 28 Autotask customers, consultants and other influential Autotask community members will be recognized for their personal contributions to the more than 30,000 members of the Autotask CommunITy. "Our first Autotask Rock Star honorees have demonstrated a passion for helping the Autotask community and the IT industry, as a whole. We hope this awards program empowers other IT professionals to join our community and offer their expertise and talents," Crall continues.
