AURES Unveils New Tilting Screen Version Of Its ELIOS Terminal

AURES Technologies, the manufacturer of POSLIGNE point-of-sale management and cashier counter solutions, unveiled a new tilting screen version of ELIOS - the most elegant slimline ‘all-in-one' ePOS terminal of its generation.

This ‘new' ELIOS is already available in a bundle format, together with the coordinated TRP 100 receipt printer and the dedicated OCD 100 customer display unit.

  • As well as housing a high-performance CPU, the very thin base of the ELIOS ePOS terminal now features a hinge system. This enables the touchscreen to be tilted to any angle between 0 and 60°, offering an expanded range of personalized viewing capabilities and facilitating user comfort during cashier counter and till operations.
  • The ELIOS system's CPU is based on INTEL ATOM N270 architecture, combining high performance, reliability and lower power consumption: the ATOM processor uses over ten times less power than the previous generation's equivalent! The system's fanless design (detailed below) is a further asset in terms of care for the environment, energy savings - and cutting your cash desk carbon footprint.
  • ELIOS' fanless and ventless design also makes it highly resistant to adverse and aggressive environments (dust, crumbs, flour, food and other residue, etc.).
  • Compact, flexible and light (only 6.3kg), ELIOS and its 15-inch touchscreen can be installed quickly and simply in any retail or hospitality environment - where it blends in perfectly.
  • The steel base ensures optimum stability of the terminal on the counter and also acts as a heatsink. What is more, the hard disk is located in a completely separate compartment from the motherboard: this also helps to minimize the risks of the system overheating. All the cables required for ELIOS are routed out of sight, concealed in the base.
  • Equipped with proprietary embedded HSD software, ELIOS is capable of e-mailing data autonomously and in real time, providing system status details as required: for instance, to the store chain's Information Systems Manager. These e-mail notifications can supply data such as temperature and power feed voltage readings, etc.

In its bundle option, AURES's New ELIOS comes with its dedicated receipt printer, the TRP 100, and its own OCD 100 customer display.
