AuraGen Technologies AuraNAS 1100i

The vision for the AuraNAS 1100i is to create storage building blocks. AuraNAS 1100i enables an end user to start small, with just one storage appliance, and build their capacity as needed over time. The premise of storage building blocks is to stack for more storage, greater processing power, no single point of failure and high availability using multiple paths and multiple units. Storage building blocks enable an end user to add features as they build capacity.

AuraNAS 1100i features dual dialect StorTrends iTX® 1.1 software which offers support for both blockbased and filebased data on the same storage appliance. Dual dialect enables the end user to transfer both block and file-based data over the existing Ethernet network.

AuraNAS 1100i offers hot swappable drive bays with SATA support. Other features introduced with the 1100i are network teaming support, caching support and UPS support. Network teaming support ensures load balancing across the dual ethernet ports. Target caching support significantly improves performance. UPS support enables the automatic switching of the target cache mode to write-through in the event of a power loss.
