Scanpak's AR 1000-WIFI reader is an RFID active reader functioning in a networked reader environment. This high-performance, innovative reader connects with an access point allowing wireless communication with the server.

The AR 1000-WIFI is part of a new wave of readers developed using active technology. Our active readers are the most advanced of its kind in the market today. With a longer read range, the active reader, through the antenna, can detect and communicate with tags at a distance of up to 200 meters. Antenna sizes will vary from application to application depending on the desired read range and other functional requirements. Once the link has been established, the tag sends its ID and any additional information to the reader.

The AR 1000-WIFI is small and compact allowing it to be easily mounted at almost any location, while staying discrete.

The AR 1000-WIFI is packaged according to your needs. The active reader is available as a high-feature, board-level module ready for integration into your own equipment or as a fully enclosed reader housed in a hazardous-environmental casing.
