Tigerpaw Software unveiled “Tigerpaw One,” which packages the professional services automation’s (PSA’s) modules into one product for delivery via the SaaS model. CEO James Foxall made the announcement during the Tigerpaw user conference, held Oct. 27 to 30 in Omaha, NE. “We want everybody using everything in the product,” he commented.

When Foxall opened the conference, he listed ways working in the channel is becoming more complex and challenging: lines of business are converging, competition is fierce, commoditization is increasing, and building recurring revenue is crucial. He said Tigerpaw wants to equip its users, which number about 40,000, with all of its tools to help them increase efficiency and productivity and control costs.

Tigerpaw One delivers all of the software’s modules for a monthly fee. Delivering the software via the SaaS model eliminates the capital expense for users and allows them to have the PSA as an opex — and not having to pick and choose among components. “We want to take down barriers to everyone getting all the value they can from Tigerpaw,” Foxall said. “It’s all about simplification.”

All users will have access to features and capabilities including Tigerpaw Mobile, Email Connector, payment processing capabilities, the password keeper, skinable customer portals, employee portals that Web-enable service, a co-managed portal for managed services, the Microsoft Exchange Integrator, and Outlook Journal Connector. A new feature associated with Tigerpaw One is visibility among users’ departments — sales reps can see service records, service can see account information — with administrator permission. Foxall added that the company will continue to innovate and add value to the software, but those advances will be included in Tigerpaw One for the monthly fee.  Foxall commented that this will differentiate Tigerpaw among its competitors, which deliver modules à la carte.

With many users now having access to features that are new to them, Foxall said users can find support through the Tigerpaw Academy: “There is a lot in the software, but the trick is making sure everyone in your company is empowered to get things done.” The academy offers resources including training, courses, live “ask the expert” sessions, and webinars.

Users who attended Tigerpaw Partner Conference 2015 received Tigerpaw One free for one year, and it will begin shipping on November 15.
