AIIM 2012 Seminar Series Explores Trends And Developments Of The Business Process Revolution

Learn how Social, Local and Mobile Intersects with People, Content and Technology to Transform Business Processes and the Role of the Information Professional

AIIM, the global community of information professionals, recently announced its 2012 Seminar Series, "The Process Revolution: Move your Business from Paper to PCs to Tablets," to be held in 13 cities during May and October. The one-day seminars will provide information management practitioners with the opportunity to explore the business drivers and skills needed for today's business process revolution.

"Mobile, social and cloud technologies are combining to revolutionize business processes," said AIIM President John Mancini. "To survive, organizations must: first, transform processes to tap into the benefits of smart phones and tablets; second, find ways to extract value from the massive amounts of information they accumulate; third, use the cloud to deploy solutions faster; and fourth, use social technologies to create deeper relationships with employees, partners and customers. These seminars will equip information professionals with the knowledge, tool-kits and peer connections they need to revolutionize their organization's processes."

Each one-day in-person educational event will feature case studies, interactive discussions and best practices that address the influence information management is having on business and the newly expanding roles of information professionals. The seminar is open to information professionals at all levels with content appropriate for both beginners and experienced managers.
