Acronis Launches Backup, Recovery Solution With Data Dedup
Acronis has announced Acronis Backup & Recovery 10, the next generation of Acronis True Image disaster recovery products. Redesigned and enhanced to meet the needs of small and larger organizations, this portfolio of products combine increased scalability, backup efficiency, and enhanced operations manageability. Based on the Acronis award-winning, patented disk imaging and bare metal restore technology, Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 is capable of backing up and restoring any Microsoft or Linux-based servers or workstations to their full operating state prior to any failure. This comprises the entire hard disk including operating system, applications, updates, settings, and data.
Acronis Backup & Recovery 10’s new capabilities include a deduplication option that allows organizations to dramatically reduce the size of their backups by eliminating storage of redundant files. It also delivers a new enhanced user interface coupled with the power to remotely manage backup tasks from anywhere across the globe. By adding significantly enhanced capability to the Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 family, Acronis allows small, medium, and large organizations to simply automate backup and disaster recovery processes across physical and virtual environments, including physical to virtual migration capabilities, in a single solution.
Organizations of all sizes will derive real benefits by implementing Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 as part of their business continuity program, such as:
