BlueStar To Distribute LILIN IP Cameras
BlueStar now distributes the LILIN L Series, which are HD, IP cameras. Features include 1080P recording at 15 frames per second with power over Ethernet (PoE), day/night switching, privacy masking, motion detection, wide dynamic range (WDR), and technology that enhances images in low light. Model options include cameras with vandal-resistant domes or low-profile mini-domes, box cameras, and external infrared cameras. L Series cameras used with LILIN's NVR Touch, a stand-alone network video recorder, create an HD IP system. Each camera has central management software that enables users to view, record, and manage up to 36 channels of video recordings without any license fees.
Four-Channel Hybrid NVR New From March Networks
March Networks recently added its four-channel 8704 S Hybrid Network Video Recorder (NVR). Able to record at 30 frames per second on all four channels, the NVR can provide ATMs and smaller banking branches real-time video recording for security and fraud detection. As a central component of a complete March Networks financial solution, the NVR is compatible with both the company's browser-based Command Enterprise and Visual Intelligence video management software. In addition, it supports March Networks Searchlight — a suite of video intelligence applications that enables banks to proactively detect fraudulent activity and gather case evidence through video, transaction information, facial images, and license plate data. The 8704 S can record up to four analog cameras, four high-definition IP cameras, or any hybrid combination, and offers up to 2 TB of internal storage. In addition, a quick response code on the front of the recorder works in conjunction with March Networks' free “GURU” smartphone application assisting with installation and maintenance.
Matrix Systems Supports aptiQ MultiTechnology Readers
Matrix Systems, an access control and security solutions provider, recently announced that its Frontier access control and security management platform supports aptiQ multitechnology readers from Ingersoll Rand. VARs can now migrate their customers from current mag-stripe readers to more advanced card reader technologies without the need to rebadge or invest in additional access control hardware. Frontier’s open-architecture design enables integration with leading third-party technologies including video management, biometrics, electronic locks and readers, and visitor management systems to provide comprehensive security management solutions.
