A Lot Of Chatter At Unheard Conference

Webinar: Cloud 101

Several vendors hosted special one-day events just prior to the ConnectWise IT Nation summit, including hardware-as-a-service vendor CharTec, which spent Thursday talking to both current and potential MSP partners about its HaaS solution.

I grabbed a few minutes with CharTec CEO Alex Rogers at the end of the day, finding him a mix of exhausted and exhilarated.

Rogers shared that the vendor was enjoying exciting growth — up more than 60% in the number of HaaS subscription partners since rolling out its BDR in July. The challenge now is how the master MSP can scale its infrastructure and support as growth continues. The answer, says Rogers, has already been put in place. CharTec will be limiting its partners by geography to ensure it has a quality community in place. Then, with its growth taking on a more planned pattern, Rogers will be focusing on several new products, among them a mini-BDR and enhanced VoIP solution.

Perhaps most exciting for many of its partners, however, will be CharTec's plan to offer marketing as a service — helping its MSP partners to automate and take control of an important aspect of their business growth.
