Touch Screen POS System Pampers A Famous Spa & Salon's Clientele

Frederic Fekkai owns the largest spa and salon in New York City. Like any other business, Fekkai's spa and salon reuqires attention to details, inventory management, and customer service. However, unlike other businesses, Fekkai has to manage the special needs of movie stars, Broadway divas and Wall Street power brokers.

Expansion Requires Technology Help
Fekkai recently partnered with Chanel Inc. and relocated his business from a one-floor operation to a new-five floor facility. The enlarged facility employs over 100 technicians offering a broad range of customer options including haircuts, coloring, facials, massages and day spa services. To manage his growing clientele, Fekkai secured the services of a consulting company, The Sutton Group Services, Inc.

Old System Doesn't Meet New Needs
Fekkai's previous system was a keyboard-driven cash register that did not meet the needs of his growing business and offered very little customer service options. Bruce Berger, president of The Sutton Group, recommended to Fekkai that he install Touch Industries' (Atlanta, GA) InfoTouch retail touchscreen POS solution. Over 30 InfoTouch Retail touch screen POS terminals were installed over five floors. Touch Industries' touch screen software allows the salon to track and monitor customer history, purchase patterns and guest needs while maintaining tight control over cash and inventory.

Scheduling Software Added To System
Touch Industries interfaced the POS system with Software Creations' scheduling software application. With technology successfully implemented in its salon, Fekkai is enlarging his business by opening additional salon locations, retail stores, and retail sales counters inside department stores. With a recent salon opening on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, CA, Fekkai again installed Touch Industries POS system with the Software Creations interface.
