3M Optical Systems Division, Specialty Display Products, offers a range of front surface, behind the display, and behind the bezel films for display protection, information privacy, and display enhancement. The Vikuiti™ front surface films have a variety of mounting options to consider, from in-mold design to permanent and removable adhesives, all providing protection from scratches and scuffing. 3M™ Privacy Filters mount on the front of the display or can be integrated into a bezel design to help your end users comply with federal privacy and security legislation and prevent the unintentional loss of information displayed on a screen. The innovative technology used in 3M Privacy Filters (ALCF [advanced light control film]) can be integrated into other displays, including ATMs and automotive to prevent data loss and reduce sunlight washout. The light guiding property of ALCF can limit the viewing angle of displays in an automobile, preventing driver distraction from bright displays. Vikuiti display enhancement films, including DBEF (dual brightness enhancement film), BEF-RP (brightness enhancement filmreflective polarizer), and ESR (enhanced spectacular reflector), can enhance the image of your displays through light recycling and reflective polarization - making your displays brighter without compromising battery life.

3M Vikuiti Front Surface Films
3M offers a variety of front surface films to meet the demanding needs of the mobile computing world. The Vikuiti anti-reflection matte (ARM) product line is designed to help protect the display from the daily wear-andtear of use. In addition, ARM films provide reflection and glare reduction and have an easy-to-clean top surface. The protection films are: ARMR200 - Removable anti-reflection matte, designed for residue-free removal in the field; ARMP200 - Permanent antireflection matte with a PSA backing for permanent installation on a display; ARM - no adhesive for in-mold design options; and DQC - a durable, quick-clean film with permanent adhesive. Vikuiti front surface protection films offering a strong value proposition for warranty and repair cost reduction and reduced field downtime for your customers.

3M Vikuiti Notebook Privacy Filters
Vikuiti Notebook Privacy Filters' privacy technology make on-screen data visible only to persons directly in front of the monitor. People on the side see a dark, blank screen. This not only helps reduce the stress and inconvenience associated with trying to conceal sensitive documents, but can also improve productivity by allowing your customers to continue working with confidential information, even when others are nearby. 3M offers privacy protection with no blurring or image distortion.

3M Vikuiti ALCF
Vikuiti ALCF (advanced light control film) uses microlouvers to manage viewing angles or to block external light from a display. Vikuiti ALCF is available with a hardcoat for improved robustness and a matte front surface for improved glare control. Vikuiti ALCF can be laminated in place, mechanically attached, or can be a free-floating film. Vikuiti advanced light control film improves the visual appearance of CRTs, LCDs, and notebook computers.

Enhancement Films
The Vikuiti Display Enhancement Films provide the latest innovation in behindthe- display enhancement for light efficiency, allowing manufacturers to create thinner displays with fewer components. These films offer a wide range of solutions to enhance the performance and visual appeal of liquid crystal displays (LCDs). These solutions are separated into three categories: Prism Films, Reflective Polarizers, and Reflectors. Vikuiti Display Enhancement Films work by managing the output angles of light (Vikuiti™ BEF), managing the polarization of light (Vikuiti DBEF), and managing the backlight efficiency (Vikuiti ESR).
