VMware CIO Tony Scott Joins Board Of Advisors At Continuum

Backed by 35 Years of IT Services Experience, Tony Scott to Help Drive Long-Term Managed IT Services Growth; Speaking at Navigate 2014 User Conference – September 21-23, 2014 – Boston

Tony is backed by more than 35 years of renowned leadership and management experience in IT services as the CIO of such legendary companies as VMware, Microsoft, The Walt Disney Company and General Motors Corporation. He is also a confirmed speaker at Navigate 2014, Continuum’s first user conference, Sunday, September 21 – Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at the Seaport Hotel in Boston.

He was CIO at The Walt Disney Company, responsible for corporate and companywide shared service functions, including enterprise-wide application development and support. Tony served as the CTO of Information Systems & Services at General Motors Corporation. He currently leads the global information technology group at VMware, the global leader in virtualization and cloud infrastructure, helping the company meet the IT needs of more than 500,000 customers. He was inducted as a member of CIO Magazine’s CIO Hall of Fame in 2009.

Tony holds a bachelor's degree in information systems management from the University of San Francisco and a Juris Doctorate with a concentration in Intellectual Property, International Law from Santa Clara University.
