ThreatTrack Security Enables Channel Partners To Capitalize On Growing Demand For APT Defenses

Cybersecurity firm to help partners build more robust and profitable security practices focused on protecting their customers from today’s most advanced cyber threats

ThreatTrack Security recently announced that it is recruiting specialized security partners to add ThreatAnalyzer – the industry’s leading defense against Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs) – to their cyber-defense portfolios. ThreatAnalyzer 5.0 represents a new revenue and growth opportunity for partners, whose customers are increasingly concerned about APTs, targeted attacks and Zero-day threats evading legacy security technologies.

According to a ThreatTrack Security study in June 2013, 69% of C-level executives at U.S. companies are concerned their organizations may be vulnerable to targeted malware attacks, APTs and other sophisticated cybercrime tactics. Moreover, nearly half say their cyber defenses do not include advanced malware analysis tools like ThreatAnalyzer to bolster their defense against these threats.

“Organizations of all sizes are discovering that their current security solutions are unable to defend them from today’s increasingly sophisticated cyber threats,” said ThreatTrack Security CEO Julian Waits, Sr. “That creates tremendous opportunity for partners with access to the advanced security technologies necessary to effectively combat APTs and other advanced malware threats. ThreatAnalyzer 5.0 fills that gap in partners’ cybersecurity portfolios, enabling them to capitalize on the rising demand for this critical new layer of malware defense.”

ThreatAnalyzer enables the identification of malicious files unknown to or undetected by signature-based security solutions. It detonates executable files and URLs in a monitored sandbox environment to analyze and determine the risks they pose to a network, generating detailed behavioral reports so partners and their end-user customers can quickly eliminate discovered threats. It streamlines a task that could take days to just two minutes or less, on average. ThreatAnalyzer has more than 250 government agency and enterprise customers worldwide.

Securing New Profits
With partners in mind, ThreatAnalyzer 5.0 features several key enhancements that make this advanced technology much more accessible, including improved behavioral analysis capabilities, a redesigned user interface for improved workflow, REST APIs that provide access to every component of the product, more robust reporting and easier deployment.

To help partners integrate ThreatAnalyzer into their solutions offerings, ThreatTrack Security will provide access to a broad array of sales, marketing and technical support. In the coming weeks, the company will introduce a series of enablement initiatives to familiarize sales and technical teams within select partners – ranging from systems integrators to Managed Security Services Providers (MSSPs) to specialized security VARs – on selling, deploying and supporting ThreatTrack Security’s APT defenses.
