Restaurant point of sale system POS Lavu offers new and improved features to increase efficiency and consistency for chains with group reporting, linked locations, and the ability to replicate menu and control settings across multiple business locations.

Albuquerque, NM (PRWEB) - Lavu, Inc., makers of POS Lavu restaurant point of sale, has announced new feature sets that will benefit businesses or franchises with multiple locations. Users can manage all of their storefront locations from a single control panel with one login. Reports for all stores can be viewed from a single dashboard.

Access to management data can now be restricted by management levels. General managers can access and edit single locations, regional managers can access and edit sub-groups of stores, and corporate managers have total access to all locations.

New grouping functions allow locations to be combined for easy access to reports and menu editing. Location combinations can be customized and built based on any requirement, such as region, proximity to urban centers, or tourist areas.

Menu items can be created one time and shared across multiple storefronts with a single click, in real-time. Menu item pricing can also be edited and updated in the same way. Customized grouping of locations allows for consistent menu item content and pricing across specific stores. This can benefit chains who run regional specials, or who may not sell certain items at some locations.

Brian Laliberte, COO of Green Beans Coffee Company currently has three locations on POS Lavu and reports that these new developments will allow management to easily migrate 12 additional locations this year from his current, traditional POS system onto this new platform. “The new POS Lavu chain functionality allows me, as a manager, to analyze results from all my cafés with a single log-in and be able to jump back and forth to see sales, average transactions and compare results quickly by café,” said Laliberte. “I can also do all the normal administrative tasks for each café independent of the other,” he added, referring to the ability to group locations or to treat each independently.

On top of existing user permission levels, levels for regional and corporate management have been added. Enhancements allow certain employee activities to be monitored, allowing actions to be tracked to reduce waste and prevent fraud.

POS Lavu offers a three-tiered pricing system, and a license discount for multiple locations. Consultations to those interested in POS for multiple location restaurants and chains are now being offered by Lavu management.
