KnowledgeLake Partners With MPS Partners To Enable Simplified ECM Solutions For SAP

Customers can access the benefits of SharePoint ECM without leaving SAP.

KnowledgeLake, the leading provider for SharePoint ECM solutions, announced a strategic partnership with MPS Partners recently, a leading Chicago based Microsoft Systems Integrator and Gold Portals and Collaboration Partner. The goal of this collaboration is to provide a simpler approach to ECM for SAP Customers. Through the partnership, SAP Customers can now access their documents and metadata stored in SharePoint directly from the SAP applications they use every day. Using a newly released technology from KnowledgeLake named Unify, the two companies are able to use their products and experience to provide a robust solution for their customers.

"We have spent the last several years helping SAP customers simplify their user experience and business processes using the Microsoft Platform." said Chris Kabat, Vice President – Microsoft Solutions, MPS Partners. "These new tools from one of our closest partners, KnowledgeLake, have made it much easier for us to provide consistent solutions from both the Microsoft and SAP user experiences."

Automating paper processes can save organizations an exponential amount of time and money by reducing errors, driving efficiency, and streamlining existing processes. Microsoft SharePoint server has been widely adopted across all kinds of organizations, including those running SAP, to help solve this problem. SharePoint gives a consistent user experience across many different facets of the organization. The ECM tools are even easier to use and when augmented with KnowledgeLake Capture and Imaging, it becomes a full and feature rich platform for document management. With some system integration, it can allow metadata to be integrated back to SAP and most users won't even need to fire up the SAP experience to kick off the business processes.

Customers that spend most of their work day in SAP don't want to leave the SAP experience to view their documents. Unify can be configured to provide a button within the SAP experience to launch a viewer and see the associated invoice or purchase order. Now all kinds of users can have access to these documents and the processes can extend beyond the realm of your SAP environment.

"MPS Partners has been a great help showing the value of our Unify product." said Tim McGwire, Senior Business Development Manager, KnowledgeLake. "This partnership and approach to integration will allow us to help a whole new set of customers with their ECM challenges."

MPS Partners and KnowledgeLake are hosting an event on 3/28/2012 to explain this solution further. For more information and to register, please go to http://www.mpspartners.com/events.
