Harmony PSA Continues Quest To Reinvent PSA Software Space, Marking 2019 With Innovative Features And Industry Firsts

Independent PSA Software Provider Marks End of 2019 with Strong Growth Trajectory

HarmonyPSA, the industry’s most comprehensive cloud PSA software, today reported its achievements for 2019. In addition to continuing its strong growth trajectory for revenues, customer reach, and product advancement, the software maker added a number of platform features that cement its position as one of the most nimble and innovative software makers in the category.

“2019 marked the first year in which Harmony PSA stepped out of it position of nascent PSA software provider and into the role of a new class of software that is redefining what the term ‘PSA’ means,” said Steve Duckworth, CEO of Harmony Business Systems. “We accomplished this goal through a combination of listening intently to the needs of our customers, being continually driven to offer functionalities never before available, and never being satisfied with ‘good enough.’”

Among many examples of improvements and additions to Harmony PSA, the company introduced customer and project-level security modelling capabilities, enabling customers to build “Chinese walls” between parts of their business where security is a key concern; the ability, with permissioning only, to extend the reach of the service desk to the partner’s customers, to both allow workflow sharing on tickets and also permit partner’s customers to use Harmony as their internal help-desk; and an extension of the notifications framework to be able to call webhooks and use them to invoke APIs. This unique capability in the PSA space allows partners to build advanced configuration workflows to suit their individual needs.

On the partner integration front, Harmony forged partnerships with a number of market leading providers, and now integrates with Continuum, Kaseya RMM, Expensify and GoCardless.

It also added a revamped user home page surfacing all the key information users need for effective operation and including user-definable pinned reports of objects necessary to their work management.

Finally, the company made significant improvements to its partner on-boarding process, offering support for standard rates, a basic working service desk built out of the box and customer record auto-load capability from both QBOnline and Xero.

The software underwent five significant revisions, which featured a number of first-ever types of functionality for PSA software. Harmony is now available in four languages, having also added French to its language pack.
