Global Convergence Inc. Acquires NXO Americas Assets

Global Convergence Inc. (GCI), a global IT channel services and specialty technology distribution company, recently announced that it has acquired the operating assets of global services and solutions provider NXO Americas, the North American subsidiary of NextiraOne Europe. This acquisition was incubated by an existing, long-term global services partnership between the two companies, and allows GCI to continue to broaden its IT services offerings for channel partners.

The acquisition is complete and new, highly experienced resources from NXO Americas will also be joining the GCI team as part of the transaction.  The business will be integrated with GCI’s existing infrastructure and brand, and can also be leveraged to channel partners as a white label services opportunity.  The move is another investment in GCI’s strategic growth strategy for 2014, which recently included adding operations in EMEA and moving its U.S. headquarters to a new, modern space that fosters a highly collaborative work environment.
